The first week's question was:
Rejection sucks, so which way would you prefer?
It's never fun to be rejected, but it's a part of dating. After going on a first date with you, if they decide they don't want second date, how would you rather they let you know?

Turns out that men, and younger women, would rather be told that you're no longer interested, and then be left alone. Older women, on the other hand, preferred to become friends afterward. Interestingly, no one wanted to be ghosted on. Yet it happens quite a bit, so why is that? We'll dig into that more in a few weeks...


Here's this week's question: 
How should a previous date rekindle things?
Sometimes it just doesn't work out with someone. You go on vacation, and never end up meeting up. You date for a while, and then they ghost. You get excited about someone else and don't let them know...

Whatever the reason, sometimes it's worth rekindling things with someone. (And yes ladies, you can do it, too!) So how would you like them to do that?

Bustle put together a great list of kissing tips.

Ladies, men were interviewed for this list. If you've haven't tried these, do so the next time you're in someone's arms. My personal favorites are:

• "Definitely hand on the back of the neck while we're kissing. Gets me every time."
• "When a girl takes control and goes in for the kiss, it's a huge turn on and a welcome change of pace."
• "Migrate. Preferably to my neck and ear. Ear stuff does it for me."

Men, I'll let you in on a secret -- ladies like these ways of kissing, too! Particularly "Vary the tempo. Sometimes fast and urgent, like you are the last lovers on earth. Sometimes slow and sensual, like you're the first lovers on earth."

Go watch this great explanation of the Languages of Love. It nicely illustrates why learning your date's languages of love is so helpful.  (And it's not a show I'd usually watch, so thanks for the suggestion!)

For reference, the Languages of Love are:

• Acts of Service
• Gifts
• Quality Time
• Touch
• Words of Affirmation​

As in the video, if they value gifts and quality time the most, then show them your interest (and eventually, love) that way. Gifts don't have to be expensive; they can just be a flower, or some chocolate, or even a six-pack of beer. Since they don't value touch and words less, giving them compliments or a massage won't mean a lot to them. 

On the other hand, if touch and words are what they value most, then that's exactly what you should do! And gifts or watching TV with them won't mean as much.

Like everything in a relationship, it's about communication and empathy. Find out their preferred love languages, and then think: 
She likes Acts of Service, so would she like it more if I got her a teddy bear or if I cooked dinner for her?
He likes Words of Affirmation, so would he like it better if I invited him to dinner with my coworkers, or if I texted him how excited I am about him?
